WhoDey is a mobile app. You see real people near you, chat with the ones you both like, and use Plans and Circles to meet in person. It covers friendship, dating and things to do in one place, and it is built for Lagos first.
The name comes from the Lagos greeting “Who dey?” (who is there?), and the tagline is “Who dey around?”. The brand is written WhoDey. Some people search for “Who Dey app”, and that is this app. Other products, songs and fan groups use similar words, so the way to be sure you have the right one is the address: whodey.ng. The app’s writing is plain English.
Who is WhoDey for?

How does WhoDey treat location?
WhoDey never shows anyone’s exact location. Others see an area name (like Yaba) and, if you allow location, a rounded distance such as “about 4 km away”. You can also choose your area yourself and share no location at all.

What WhoDey is not
- It does not claim a number of users. We will publish real numbers when they are worth publishing.
- It is not for under-18s, and it does not reward or buy reviews.
- It does not show your profile or chats on the open web. Nothing a member writes in the app appears on this website.
